Ali Landry Monteverde

Ali Landry, an American beauty pageant contestant, actress and model who was crowned Miss USA in 1996, is an American model and actress. Her name was chosen by her mother in honor of Ali MacGraw, an actress who starred in the movie 'Love Story.' She's of French (Cajun), Cajun heritage, and was raised in Cecilia Louisiana where she went to Cecilia High School. She was coach of the cheerleading team in high school and was named 'Miss Louisiana Teen USA' at the age of seventeen. After that, she took home the 1996 Miss Louisiana USA' title and made her debut in the limelight following winning the 'Miss USA' title. She began her acting career in 1997, in the TV show 'Clueless'. The show's popularity skyrocketed when she became "the Doritos Girl" by appearing in the 'Doritos' commercial telecast at the 1998 Super Bowl. Her first film appearance was in the movie 'Beautiful' in 2000. She has appeared in many films and television series over time. Her name is featured in many'most-wanted women' lists.
